The shady folks over at GameSpy have released a great guide for those marching their male/female/shemale [is that possible?] Commander Shephards to suicide. The full 1000GS looks like it’ll be a lot easier to attain in comparison to the original Mass Effect, which required a few more hours of team leveling to gain most p-hat points. Not that it’s a bad thing, considering how awesomely epic both titles are. Usually XBOX360Achievements.org is my go-to site for cheevo walkthroughs, but I found this one to be informative not only on how to gain Gamerscore, but also on proper combat strategies for kicking alien ass.
Wanderlei gets an extreme makeover, Rampage joins the A-Team

Silva’s not exactly a makeover queen/fashionista, so when he goes under the knife to get some work done you can bet it’s to help his career.
In other absurd UFC news, Rampage is pulling out of his grudge match against Rashad Evans at UFC 107 to fill the Baracus role in the upcoming A-Team remake. Jackson will star alongside Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson, filling the role made famous by Mr. T. Filling the now vacant main event slot is the lightweight title match-up between BJ Penn and Diego Sanchez.

I may go to sleep with my iPod touch every night [literally], but I’ve got to admit this thing looks pretty sweet. If I can get my gamertag on that thing and earn some achievements through some quality bite-sized games, I may have to swap my touch for one. I don’t need a flood of games like the AppStore to keep me happy, just a handful of ones that are actually playable beyond five minutes. All Microsoft needs to do is make sure Chillingo and ngmoco:) are on board and they should be alright. Ngmoco:) is already implementing an XBL-like experience into their games with the Plus+ network, so they shouldn’t be hard to swoon.

I finally gave in while browsing the Avatar Marketplace today and picked up a pair of items to pimp my little 360 clone. Although the Star Wars lightsaber looked badass and was mighty tempting, five bucks is a little much for a virtual toy that you can’t even play with so I had to decline. I settled for a pair of Halo 3 cargos and a soccer ball to go along with my Portugal MNT jersey [which I'm still glad was free, thanks Microsoft!]. I feel like a tool for buying virtual clothing for a little version of myself but on the bright side, at least I still have enough MS Points left for a couple of Rock Band tracks. I’m looking forward to a killer app where I can actually use for Avatar though, everything aside from Joy Ride looks pretty lame to be honest. How about a Mario-style epic platformer where your little dude is the star of the show?

Fans of the oh-so terrible Enviro-Bear 2010 might want to start brushing up on their MiniGore shooting skills. The badly drawn bear will be one of two iPhone gaming stars crossing titles to join John Gore’s hunting party. Lizzie, one of the stars of Secret Exit’s Sway, will also be added to the survival shooter’s roster within the next few updates. This mash-up of original iPhone stars seems to be the latest trend on the iPhone AppStore, with every indie developer loaning out their creations to boost colleagues and their own sales. Read more »
Sneak as Snake for a lot less in MGS: Touch

Konami has announced that from August 13 through 15 the price of MGS: Touch is being dropped to $5.99, a five dollar savings from it’s normal high-budget price. I’ve spent some time playing the game and while it’s an absolute clunker at $7.99, it’s not too bad of a pill to swallow at it’s new sale price. Read more »
