The XXI Winter Olympic Games come to a close tonight after two weeks of great action and historic Canadian moments.

11:00 pm A fantastic Winter Olympic Games goes out with a whimper. Extremely bummed with the musical acts selected to play the closing ceremonies, but it’s about the athletes and not Chad Kroeger [thank God!]. I loved following every minute of these games and thanks to Xbox updates, iPhone apps, TV coverage and web streams I never had any trouble doing it. This was our best Olympic performance ever and the heroes created in these games will inspire generations to come. Goodnight!
10:55 pm We now have K-OS performing with a group of extras from Batman Forever. The dance moves are alright, but the music could be sooo much better. A bootleg of Bel Biv Devo’s Poison? Really?
10:47 pm Proven wrong unfortunately by Hedley. The awkward silence after “Vancouver are you having fun tonight?” sums up these performances. Greece had Tiesto spin at the opening ceremonies of the Athens 2004 Olympics, why not have MSTRKRFT do a short set? This is going over like a fart in church.
